 Being connected to the chic new resort – The Sea – in Bang Por, you’d probably expect Vara Spa to have the same innovative approach to style and service. And you’d be absolutely right! And although it is an integral part of a resort, it’s entirely separate, too, taking up nearly half of The Sea’s wide frontage and having its own individual reception. Enter through the glass doors and you’ll find yourself in a highceilinged atrium with decorative-tiled flooring, mahogany furniture and silk-cushioned seating.  There are three treatment rooms on the ground floor
(one is a suite with steam room and bathtub), and two
double Thai massage rooms and a reflexology area on the first floor. And at Vara Spa, they pride themselves on their ability to match local Thai healing wisdom with Western contemporary ideas creating an innovative beauty and skincare service. Here, you’re treated in a natural and holistic way, as they select the most beneficial Thai herbs available (those recognized for their healing qualities), and use curative techniques to harmonize the physical body bringing your mind, body, and spirit into balance. Sounds rather good, doesn’t it? Well, it is.
There’s a complete range of treatments available, including facials (even one especially for men!), body scrubs and wraps, massages, and, of course, various combined treatment packages. And Vara Spa doesn’t have just the one signature treatment package, but three!
 Firstly, there’s the ever-popular and highly-decadent Vara Four Hand where two perfectly synchronized therapists spend 100 minutes performing the massage of a lifetime, taking you to heaven and back. Then there’s the relaxing and rejuvenating 150-minute Vara Secret which incorporates a foot soak, an exotic, fresh coconut body scrub followed by a facial mask moisturizing session. And, thirdly, there’s the 120-minute Vara Royal Thai which includes the famous Look Pra Kob (hot herbal compress)
acupressure technique massage guaranteed to release blockages and alleviate muscle aches and pains.
